Rose Cherneff (they/them) is a farmer and educator devoted to building connections between the past and the future through growing food, caring for the earth, and building community.

Rose got their start farming at The Food Project where they learned that our food system is strongest when diverse groups of people come together to solve our world’s most pressing challenges. From there, Rose went on to spend over a decade working on a variety of production and educational farms growing vegetables, native perennials, and raising animals, while using tractors, horses, hand-power, and Jewish ancestral practices to make it happen.

Currently, Rose is loving learning everything they can about ancient irrigation techniques, soil micro-organisms, and community seed saving projects.

Rose is excited to learn and grow with you in a course, 1-on-1 session or consultation, or at an upcoming community event!
